Ronald Eugene Eads, 52 of Bloomington passed away early Sunday morning July 24, 2011 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born in Sullivan, Indiana on November 10, 1958 to Kenneth and Phyllis Norris Eads. Ron was a 1978 graduate of Bloomington High School North and spent his career as a professional automotive mechanic in Bloomington. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. Above all else he will be remembered for his love of family, his dog Gadget and his capacity to help others in need. Ron leaves behind his daughter Rachel A. Eads; daughter Crystal Rice; son Justin Rice, and parents Kenneth and Phyllis Eads, all of Bloomington. He is also survived by his brother Michael Eads of New York City, New York; sister Deborah Eads of Bloomington; brother Scott Eads of Bloomington, and five grandchildren, McKenna, Brayleigh, Carmen, Zaven and Taylin. Ron was preceded in death by a son Tyler E. Eads. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ron's life will be held Friday July 29, 2011 at 6:00PM at the First United Church of Bloomington. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00PM until the time of the service at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to a memorial fund that has been established in Ron's honor at the Indiana University Credit Union.
