Sharon R. Greer, of Bloomington, passed away February 28, 2010 at her residence.  She was 72 years old.

 Born August 3, 1937 she was the daughter of Les and Louise (Marsh) Anderson.  She enjoyed working in her garden growing vegetables and flowers and loved spending time with her family.

 She is survived by her three children, Lisa Knies and husband Gregg of Sellersburg, IN, Mike Greer and wife Ardela of Oolitic, IN and Richard Greer and wife Kay of Bloomington; six grandchildren, Morgan Knies of Sellersburg, IN, Courtney Wise of Memphis, TN, Jason Greer of Spencer, IN, Tanna Covey of Oolitic, IN, Marcy Kalat of San Francisco, CA and Paula Zurbuch of Bloomington, IN; and eight great grandchildren, Nathanael and Jacob Covey of Oolitic, IN, Alexis Greer of Springville, IN, Drew Wise of Memphis, TN, Marley Kalat of San Francisco, CA and Blaine, Bryce and Drew Zurbuch all of Bloomington.

 She was preceded in death by her mother, and a daughter, Deanna Greer.

 Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Rd. 37, with burial to follow at Clover Hill Cemetery.

 Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

    Dickie, Mike, I know we haven't seen or talked to one another in a very long time but I read about your mother after I got back to town from vacation so I just wanted to send you a note to let you know that I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you can get thru this okay.
