Stella Marie Hazel Logsdon, age 84 of Bloomington passed away at her residence Saturday evening October 23, 2010. Stella was born in Bloomington on September 13, 1926 to Joseph Milton and Estella Marie Hendricks Hazel. For many years Stella was the owner and ran Stella’s Place on Bloomington’s south side. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation and will be fondly remembered for her genuine love and way of caring for those around her. Stella leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Robert Joseph Logsdon of Bloomington; daughter Betty Ann McMasters and her husband John of Anderson, South Carolina, daughter Tina Cheri; grandchildren Sheri Ann Brocaglia and her husband Tom, Michael Joseph McMasters, and Noah Barrow and his wife Yasuko; great grandchildren Andrea Lynn McMasters, Darren Joseph McMasters, Ann Marie Brocaglia, Michael Anthony Brocaglia and Isaac Noah Barrow. Stella also leaves behind extended family members Evelyn Miller, Helen Armstrong, James and Lorene Logsdon, and Nancy and Phillip Young as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother William Hazel. Funeral services for Stella will be conducted Thursday October 28, 2010 at 2:00PM at Allen Funeral Home 4155 South Old Highway 37. Visitation will be held also on Thursday at Allen Funeral Home from 11:00AM until the time of the service at 2:00PM. Entombment will follow the service at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
