Steve was a good friend of mine for the past 7 years. We would talk about life, religion, and whatever was bothering us at the time. He always had a good word to think about when I would be down. He always had nothing but good things to say about his children. I will miss his laughter and his way of making fun of me. Truly a great American, lost too early. We miss you Steve.

As the oldest niece of Steve's oldest brother my family sends our deepest sympathy to Steve's immediate family and closest friends. You can only immagine our shock to find out about Steve's death 8 months later. Please accept our condolences. You are in our prayers. My memories are that of a kind and fun loving man. I still have a cross necklace he brought back from overseas for me 40+ years ago!
