Marilynn, Patrick, and Jacki: Please accept our deep apology for not being able to attend the services for our friend, Tom. We were most sorry to hear the news of Tom's passing and unfortunately we are in South Carolina and will not be able to get back to Indiana in time. Tom was a good friend and business associate; one that I always held in high regard and with respect. He was an outstanding banker and one of the best educators, training our credit analysts, that I know. Please accept our deep sympathy. Dave and Jean Fronek

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Tom several times while we were at Indiana National Bank. Our business meetings seemed to always end up with us talking about something entirely different, usually ducks. Tom was a good man and will be missed by all of those who worked with or knew him.

To Marilyn and Patrick and Jim I am in the roofing business, and I had the pleasure of working with Tom during the 80's and 90's. I am 71 yrs old, and continue to work for Nu-Tec Roofing in Indianapolis. As I have told many people many times, Tom was very professional, knowledgable and above all fair. Tom set the standard who what I look for in a lender in the Constructions Industry. Please accept my sympathy and best wishes. I will miss Tom, but never forget him. Bruce

Marilyn, please accept Shelley and my deepest sympathy for your loss of Tom. I will miss seeing him walking his dog, smoking his pipe, and willingness to stop and shoot the breeze. He was a class act and atleast some ducks can rest alittle easier. Love Paul

I was honored to sit on the Board of Friends of White River with Tom. I also had several opportunities over the past years to share a boat with Tom to enjoy our mutual love of fly fishing. Your father was as fine a man as I have ever met and he brought a great deal of enjoyment and laughter to those who knew him. At the appropriate moment, Tom could be serious and often offered sage advice on a variety of subjects. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to share a bit of his life.

To the family of Tom Kelly, I heard of his passing yesterday. Tom touched many lives in Indianapolis throughout his banking career, he is one of the few I knew that understood banking through and through. He had the pleasure to work directly with him in 2000, when he agreed to teach at the Central Indiana RMA Lending school. I will never forget how dynamic he was, how he took the students and really made them understand. I am teaching that part of the course this year, I just hope I can do him proud. I am Very sorry for your loss. Tom was a good man and he left way too soon.
