My sincerest condolences to Mr. Rose's family. Tim was a long-time friend of my grandparents, Everett and Gladys Clark from Monticello, both deceased. I believe, if memory serves, Tim may have intervened when I was a freshman at IU in 1980 to get me in the St. Mark's choir. Unfortunately I never met Tim, but I was always told he would be there if I needed him. May God bless his family.

Tim was a dear and honored friend. Many lives in the area have been enriched and blessed because Tim reached out to make Bloomington and the surrounding areas better places to live. I am a better person for having known Tim and Delores.

I unfortunately did not meet Mr. Rose; however, his dedication to the Scouting movement has been made clear to me. Having served as our council's President, Timothy impacted countless families and young people in south-central Indiana and he will be missed. May the greatest Scoutmaster of all be with us, until we meet again. Glen R. Steenberger Scout Executive/CEO Hoosier Trails Council, BSA

Susan and Tim, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He was a wonderful man with a wonderful family. I remember visiting your home so many times during Jr High and High school, and how kind he always was to me. I did not realize until I saw his picture that he was involved with Boy Scouts. What an important calling. He made a difference in hundreds of lives. God bless you both during this time.

I was visiting my mother in Bloomington this week when I learned of Tim's passing. I am so sorry to hear of this. Your family has been part of my family's life for so many years--going back to the founding of St Mark's, Green Acres, etc. I tried calling your father several years ago at Christmas time and spoke to him, but was unable to determine from him if you were going to be in town. Unfortunately, I had to return to my home in Sellersburg today and will not be able to come to the visitation or funeral. My brother Rich is now in town and hopefully he will be able to visit (my mother is also seriously ill). You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Your parents were both very special. Susan, when time permits, give me a call at 812 987 1106 or send me an email. My email is jbradley21@insightbb.com. I would love to talk/email or even see each other some time. Best Regards, Brad Wampler

I send my prayers for your family and I will miss him. He loved his scouts and when I used to drive him and his wife to different doctors appointments he was always happy and interested in life. He was fun to be with and always up to date on his current affairs. God be with your family and I will see him later I'm sure.

I so enjoyed visiting with the Rose's while I was employed at Bell Trace in Bloomington. Tim and Delores were a delightful couple and despite their poor health conditions, were always cheerful and kind. I know of their unselfish contributions to their church and community and I am grateful for people like your folks who really cared about those around them and took action. Our country needs more people like Tim and Delores Rose! It was my pleasure to have known your folks in their golden years! Suz
