Velma Ruth Eads Robertson, 81 of Jamestown, formerly of Bloomington passed away Monday May 23, 2011 at the Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born April 18, 1930 in Bloomington to Clifford and Ruby Kelly Eads.  Velma attended Handy School and Bloomington High School and spent her professional career as a self-employed hairdresser. She leaves behind her son Larry Deckard of Jamestown; granddaughters Tanya Beard and her husband Bob and Holly Cliff and her husband David; four great grandchildren, Olivia, Eric, and Elyse Beard, Trevor Deckard,  and a sister Janice Rogers of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard Robertson. Funeral services for Velma will be held Saturday May 28, 2011 at 1:00PM at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 South Old Highway 37. Burial will follow at the Rose HIll Cemetery. Visitation will be the same day, Saturday May 28, 2011 from 11:00AM until the time of the service at 1:00PM, also at Allen Funeral Home.
