William Robert Webb of Smithville Indiana went home to be with the
Lord Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Monroe Hospital surrounded by his
loving family. He was born in Greenburg, Indiana to
his parents Mildred and Roy Webb.
Fuzzy was a volunteer fireman in Arlington Indiana until he moved
to Bloomington in 1963. He was a member of Indiana National Guards.
He worked at Indiana University as an upholsterer until he started
his own company, Webb Upholstery. He has also done work
for Ryan Upholstery and Donovan's Interiors. He was an ABC bowling
member for many years. He was a lifetime member of The Loyal Order
of the Moose and a member of Arlington Christian Church, Arlington,
Indiana and attended Souls Harbor Apostolic Church. He was a member
of the Smithville Area Association.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Roselyn Joan (Heath)
Webb. 3 sons: Stephen Webb (Sandy) of Ellettsville, Roy "Mick"
Webb (Jill) of Spencer, Carlos Webb (Sheila) of Bloomington,
9 Grandchildren; Ginger Gill (Chris), Stephanie Williams (Darnell
Hopkins), Jason Webb, Kelli Merriman (Tim), Krista Webb, Brandon
Webb (Emily), Jessica Lowry (Kirk), Jordan Webb, and Justin Webb, 4
great grandchildren; Alex Gill, Hope Roberts, Mackinzie Merriman
and Briyana Hopkins. Step-grandchildren include; Jacob Foster,
Lindsey Merchant (Tony), Mandy Porter, David Porter, and Steven
Porter. Step Great Grandchildren are; Haley Merriman,
Amisiyah Hopkins, Victoria Merchant, and Alani Merchant. Also
surviving is one sister Imogene Morris of Connersville and two
brothers, Jack Webb of Rushville and Marion Webb of
Rushville.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Webb, Mildred Webb
Coffey and stepfather Cecil Coffey. Brothers Keith Webb, Melvin
Webb, and sister Barbara Webb. Granddaughter Nicole (Webb) Roberts,
Great Granddaughter Gracie Roberts.
Funeral
services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6th at
Soul's Harbor Apostolic Church, 7510 S. Old St. Rd. 37 with Rev.
David Butcher officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek
Cemetery. Friends may call at Allen Funeral Home on Sunday
from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday one hour preceding
the services.
