Zola Etta Weaver of Indianapolis, the widow of Chester J. Weaver, passed away Wednesday May 5, 2010 at her residence. She was 101 years old. Zola was born February 4, 1909 in Green County Indiana to Frank and Ora Hudson Dobson. She leaves behind her son William Weaver of Indianapolis, and a granddaughter, Janet Smock. Zola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester J. Weaver; a daughter Barbara Sue Smock; two brothers, Henry and Vernon Dobson; and three sisters Alta Garshett, Jane Anderson, and Naomi McCoy. Funeral services for Zola will be held Saturday May 8, 2010 at 2:00PM in the afternoon at Allen Funeral Home 4155 South Old Highway 37, Bloomington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at 2:00PM. Zola will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Bloomington.
